1. About these terms

This website is operated by Field Ingenuity Ltd, South Duffield, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom. By using the site you accept these terms. Work we carry out for you is governed by the written quotation and job confirmation we issue, together with the terms below.

2. Website content

Information on this site describes our services in general terms and is not agronomic, engineering or legal advice. Figures quoted from third-party sources are attributed where they appear. Product recommendations, rates and timings must be confirmed by a qualified adviser for your specific site and crop.

3. Quotes and bookings

Quotations are based on the area, access and conditions described to us and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A booking is confirmed when we issue a written job confirmation. Areas are charged as flown against the agreed boundary.

4. Client responsibilities

• Confirm you own or have permission to authorise work on the land, site or structure concerned.
• Provide accurate boundaries, access arrangements and details of hazards, overhead lines, livestock, sensitive areas, neighbouring crops and any nearby dwellings.
• Supply the product, label and any adviser recommendation where the work involves applying a product, and confirm it is approved for the intended use.

5. Operations, safety and weather

All flights are carried out in line with our CAA operational authorisation, our risk assessments and the relevant product labels. We may postpone or stop work where wind, rain, visibility, airspace restrictions, third-party access or safety concerns make it unsafe or ineffective to continue. We will reschedule affected work at the earliest practical opportunity.

6. Cancellation

Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move a booked job. Cancellations inside that window, or after the crew has mobilised, may be charged to cover the mobilisation cost. Cancellations by us for weather or safety reasons are not charged.

7. Payment

Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing. We may charge statutory interest on late payment.

8. Data, imagery and deliverables

You own the survey outputs we produce for you — orthomosaics, vigour maps, zone maps, prescriptions and reports — once the invoice is paid. We retain a copy of the raw imagery, flight logs and application records for our operational and regulatory records, and may use anonymised, non-identifying imagery for training and promotion unless you tell us not to.

9. Liability

We hold public liability insurance appropriate to our operations and will work with reasonable skill and care. Crop and site responses depend on weather, soil, product choice and agronomic decisions outside our control, so we do not guarantee yield, growth or generation outcomes. Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, our liability for any single job is limited to the charges for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
