Who we are

Field Ingenuity Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of our drone application, survey and mapping work. Our registered contact details are:

What we collect

• Contact and enquiry details you send us: name, business name, email, phone number, site location and the details of the work you are asking about.
• Operational records created when we work for you: field or site boundaries, application records, flight logs and aerial imagery (RGB and multispectral).
• Basic technical data from your visit to this site, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address, used only to keep the site working and secure.

Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes (our legitimate interest in replying to you).
• To plan, fly, record and invoice work you have asked us to carry out (contract).
• To keep the flight, application and safety records required of a drone operator (legal obligation).

Aerial imagery

Our surveys capture imagery of land and assets. We fly to the boundary agreed with the client and our purpose is never the surveillance of individuals. Where people or neighbouring property appear incidentally in imagery, that imagery is stored securely, shared only with the client and their agronomist or adviser, and is not published without permission.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where it is needed to deliver the work — for example with an agronomist or adviser you have nominated — or with service providers who host our email, files and mapping data under contract, or where the law requires disclosure.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards. Job records, flight logs and application records are kept for as long as needed to meet our operational, insurance, tax and regulatory obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email a.cullen@fieldingenuity.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
